My bridge across time is a blue, winged muse. Gracefully she arches from the frozen cities of my past, which made my people refugees. Crossing on this bridge of dreams, come their spirits seeking refuge in my own. Across the land of lizards where my barefoot childhood ran, my muse sails to my home in the San Francisco Bay. Balancing elements of identity, I await tomorrow silently. |
